“ We stopped by here for a drink and snack while in the neighborhood. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and we will hit up this place next time when we have more time. Oysters are my wife's thing, and she said they were delicious, especially for the money spent. Great HH value. Bar area is as you walk in, and then the dining room is after you pass the bar. It is a nice setup, with both areas separated nicely. It felt like the perfect combination of energetic, yet classy. I find places straddle the line and fail, but they created a great environment. You might be wondering how it gets a 5 when we were there so briefly. Well, it was because of the service. Our bartender was named Vaughnee (hope I spelled that right), and I hope you get the pleasure of his service when you go to the bar. He was the perfect combo of efficiency, personality, menu knowledge, and humor. I made a joke with him that to be named that, he almost HAD to be a cool guy. He backed up his cool name. It was pouring rain the day we were walking around this neighborhood, and so glad we planned on swinging in. I highly recommend, we definitely will be back our next trip to Nashville, and see you there... ”
“ Went in blind for Sunday brunch while walking around the area, and we were completely blown away. Service was super friendly and personable, pastries are all made in house fresh everyday. We had the monkey bread which was super dense and covered in a decadent butterscotch/pineappley(?) sauce. Love monkey bread and never see it on restaurant menus so was excited about that (it’s what drew us in from the street honestly). The buns used for the burger and breakfast sandwich were also very high quality and I suspect made in house as well. Both of our entrees were very flavorful and super well balanced and crafted, can tell how much effort the kitchen puts into every dish. Finally, the French fries were potentially the best French fries either of us had ever had. They were super crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, came well seasoned and with an incredible garlic aioli. Best meal we had in Nashville. ”
“ I only had time for a quick bite at Henrietta Red in Nashville, but I was really happy I was able to grab a last-minute seat at the bar! When I first looked at the menu, I knew this place was perfect for me, so I came back a few weeks later to try more. The space is bright and open, located in Nashville’s historic Germantown. The service was friendly and quick, and the small plates I had were amazing. It’s no surprise they’ve received several James Beard nominations. Great job by Executive Chef and Co-Owner Julia Sullivan, Chef De Cuisine Eric Parmelee, and the whole Henrietta Red team. Check out my photos: 'Nduja Butter Oysters Green Curry Oysters Beef Tartare - Egg Yolk, Calabrian, Pecorino, Fingerling Chip Sample Menu (changes often) And many more... If you love oysters, Henrietta Red is a must. They offer an amazing selection of both East and West Coast oysters, probably the best in the city. The lively bar scene is perfect for happy hour. You can enjoy fresh oysters with a cocktail or a glass of beer or wine from their great list. Besides oysters, the menu has lots of tasty small plates, letting you create your own seafood feast. Since opening six years ago, Henrietta Red has become a favorite in Germantown, thanks to Chef Julia Sullivan’s skills and the restaurant’s fun vibe. While Gulf seafood is the star of the menu, there’s a lot more to explore. I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in Nashville. ”
“ Everything we had was amazing. Definitely will be coming back soon. Brunch happy hour oysters may be my new obsession. ”
“ Absolutely amazing brunch spot! The oysters were very fresh. The burger was a nice classic. And the Turkish eggs are a must. The Turkish eggs had a little kick, but don’t let that scare you. The dish is crafted very well. I would definitely get that again! Not pictured is a mimosa. I highly recommend it. They definitely use high-quality ingredients - if I were to describe it I would call it a high-end mimosa. Which is rare to find at a lot of brunch spots. Our server was absolutely amazing and described the menu well. I wish I could remember her name, 5 stars to her! I recommend sitting at the oyster bar if you enjoy sitting at open kitchens. ”

“ Henrietta Red is a gem for seafood lovers in Nashville! The oyster selection is fantastic, with so many fresh options to choose from. My favorite was the Baywater Indigo – absolutely perfect. The atmosphere is bright, airy, and adorable, and I loved being able to see the open kitchen in action. Every dish we tried was unique and delicious, showcasing thoughtful preparation and flavors. It’s the kind of place that feels special but still relaxed. Highly recommend for a great meal and a lovely experience! ”
